We will be starting the last important assignments of the class:

• Second Longer paper using the readings for support
• Unit 3, 4 & 5 of Sentence Combining--Unit 3 with a partner
• Reading a Fiction story and doing a presentation for class

Our final weeks will have the following important test dates:

• Having our Exit Writing Test on June 5th
• Having a Final vocabulary, punctuation, & sentence test on June 9th
  

NEW Assignment--DUE Mon. 5-19

For Monday, May 19th, read pages 96-109 from
Guidelines, Ch. 3.

We will have Paper #2 assigned. We will begin Unit 3 of
Sentence Combining.

May 13th-16th

This week you have a lot of Sentence Combining to complete. Remember to always review your sentences and proofread your work for clear sentences with connectors, good variety and interesting "paragraphs" for the invitation question.

12 Sentence Combining are DUE ON FRIDAY, May 16th.
We have one in class today--a quiz of sorts--on May 12th.
We will be in the computer lab both May 14th and 15th.
Check your May assignments for the Summary and Questions DUE
